McCormack Warehouse, Toronto

Stage design created in collaboration with artist Kizmet for the Department of Civilian Dance and Bass Coast Festival. This large-scale installation featured a humanoid figure meticulously crafted from wood and brought to life with vibrant spray-painted textures. Projection mapping transformed the sculpture into a living, breathing entity, with audio reactive visuals responding to music and movement.

The design blended organic craftsmanship with digital art, creating a striking focal point that connected the audience with the performance, celebrating the synergy between analog artistry and digital innovation, offering a new dimension to live performance. Set against the industrial backdrop of McCormack Warehouse, the installation invited viewers into a space where human form and technology intertwined, echoing the transformative spirit of the festival.
