July 12-13, 2024

302 Geary Ave, Toronto

Dalma is an immersive projection installation that uses Hologauze sheets and projections to imitate hologram illusions. Presented as part of Noxte Vol V: Luminal Connections, Toronto’s first-ever new media festival, Dalma transforms space into an environment where the boundaries between physical and digital worlds blur. The visuals, crafted using Blender and TouchDesigner, feature abstract forms that seem to float and interact with the audience in real-time.

Dalma explores themes of perception, illusion, and the fluidity of identity in a digital age. The holographic projections challenge the viewer's sense of reality, inviting them to step into a liminal space where light, movement, and form coalesce. As the visuals evolve, they mirror the audience’s own journey through digital landscapes, reflecting on the ever-shifting nature of modern existence.

Exhibited alongside pioneering works from international artists: ALi Phi, El Ekeko, Ashorii and Alexander Mcleod
